What this covers

A complete account of what Rhiza stores on your device when you visit this site. Nothing is omitted. There is not much to omit.

What we store

Four entries. All of them in localStorage, not in HTTP cookies. That distinction is real: localStorage entries do not travel with your requests to our servers. They live in your browser only, invisible to us.

rhiza-cookie-consent: your response to this notice, saved as a small JSON object with two fields recording whether you accepted Statistics storage and Marketing storage. Both are currently off because this site uses neither.

rhiza-theme: whether you prefer light or dark mode.

rhiza-lang: the language you selected.

rhiza-lang-banner-dismissed: whether you already dismissed the banner that appears when your browser language does not match the page.

That is everything.

What we do not do

No analytics. No advertising. No session recording. No fingerprinting. We don't pass data to third parties. This site loads, you read it or you do not, and nothing reports back to anyone.

Statistics and marketing

The cookie settings panel has toggles for both. They are off because we do not currently use either category. If that changes we will update this page and the banner will reappear to ask you. You will not be opted in without your say.

Changing your choices

Click "Cookie settings" in the footer. The panel opens with your previous choices already there. Update and confirm. To clear everything manually, open DevTools, go to Application → localStorage, and delete the four entries listed above.
